The World Islands: Rising from the Arabian Gulf, the World Islands is probably Dubai’s most ambitious architectural project. Dozens of sandbanks have been created, creating a map of the globe that’s remarkably accurate. Only one is currently visitable: Lebanon. It’s sometimes hard to decipher the picture from the ground.
Sailing over to the island you can guess which island is which, but the only way to truly appreciate the design is with a bird’s-eye angle. Our 40-minute scenic Dubai air tours swoop above the world map, enabling you to enjoy the ultimate view of how the sandy islands fit together. You can’t miss Lebanon, with its villas and palms, and you also can’t miss your own home country when you see it from the air.
